CO2 Data Monitoring

In accordance with Directive 1753/2000/EC, as from 2001, all Member States annually have had to deliver CO2 Monitoring to the European Commission.

 

The new Directive 2009/443/EC requires that - as from 2010 - Member States are obliged to report CO2 emissions to the European Commission. The Topic Group IX. focussed on the collection and registration of CO2 data and data quality.

 

The Topic Group was chaired by Mr Peter Striekwold from the Netherlands.
